Director’s Statement
Hello Superstars! My name is Olivia Harpham, and I am the founder of The Harpham Company – Youth Theatre School.
Since four, I have trained in various Drama Schools across the UK. I have dedicated my life to making the Arts accessible for all children and am determined to never give up on my mission to create a space for Women within the industry. I have done and will do anything I can to bring theatre opportunities to the next generation, Women and Minorities in my community, the UK and beyond. After receiving my BA (Hons) Degree in Musical Theatre from Hull School of Performing Arts, I made it my mission to create a unique Youth Theatre School where the children always come first, which is when THC was born.
Director’s Mission
It is my aim to ensure all children have a drama school experience in a warm, friendly and happy environment. At The Harpham Company – Youth Theatre School, your child shall be treated as an individual, not a number. Drama allows children to dream, explore, create, interact and perform! I want to give children an opportunity to build relationships, meet new friends, encourage self-expression whilst developing their theatre skills and receive high-quality theatre training.
Your child will become part of a team, perform as a cast and learn skills that will last them a lifetime. The most important thing to me is that every child is happy and that our schools represent positive role models to the next generation. I want to inspire them and ensure they have fun at The Harpham Company and, lastly, be allowed to do what they love the most – perform!
